A tragic accident occurred in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, when a truck carrying Kanwar pilgrims overturned. The incident resulted in the death of one person and injuries to 14 others. The truck, carrying around 15-17 pilgrims, was en route from Rishikesh to Chamba and overturned near Jajal, Tachla under Thana Narendra Nagar. Emergency responders, including local police, administrative officials, and the SDRF, quickly reached the site and began rescue efforts. The injured received immediate medical attention at Fakot Primary Health Center, while the seriously injured were transferred to AIIMS Rishikesh and Narendra Nagar Hospital. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conveyed his condolences and assured full support for the injured.
