Odisha is currently experiencing heavy rainfall, with the expectation of continued inclement weather until July 4. A low-pressure system, originating from the Bay of Bengal, is influencing the weather and is predicted to move towards North Odisha, West Bengal, and Jharkhand. The IMD has issued an orange warning for eight districts, anticipating heavy to very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds. Sea conditions are expected to be rough along the Odisha coast, and fishermen have been advised to avoid venturing into the sea during this period.
