These celebrations, orchestrated by the Union Culture Ministry and Bhagwan Mahaveer Ahimsa Bharti Trust, initiate a year-long tribute to the revered spiritual leader. The event highlighted the significance of June 28, 1987, the date when Acharya Vidyanand Muniraj received his title, symbolizing the essence of Jain culture. PM Modi also participated in the unveiling of commemorative postage stamps. He underscored India’s rich cultural history, its enduring strength derived from its timeless ideologies, and the wisdom of its sages and saints. The year-long centenary will include various programs across India, emphasizing community engagement, youth involvement, and interfaith dialogue, aimed at spreading the teachings of Acharya Vidyanand Ji Maharaj to future generations.
