Google has made its AI Mode search feature available in India. This new experimental feature allows users to ask more detailed questions and receive comprehensive answers that combine web results, real-time information, and contextual knowledge. Following initial testing in the United States, the tool is now integrated into Google Labs in India and supports English. The AI Mode is powered by a custom version of Gemini 2.5, Google’s proprietary language model. Its key functionality is to help users avoid the need for multiple searches by providing a detailed answer to a single, complex question. Users can take advantage of voice search and image input as well. Accessible from June 24, 2025, the AI Mode is available through the Google app or the dedicated Labs website. The company is planning to roll out support for more languages soon.
