The NDA is strategizing for the Bihar Assembly elections, set for October-November, with a unified approach. The campaign will be spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the NDA’s key campaigner in Bihar. Modi’s public engagements in Bihar have already commenced, featuring large rallies across the state’s divisions.
PM Modi has already held rallies and government events in Patna, Saran, and Darbhanga divisions. Upcoming rallies are scheduled in Gaya, Begusarai, and Kosi divisions. Furthermore, before the election announcement, events are planned in Purnia, Bhagalpur, and Tirhut divisions, with the focus on inaugurating infrastructure projects. The goal is to connect with voters throughout the state.
In addition to the rallies, the government is launching initiatives involving substantial investment. The BJP intends to emphasize development as the central election issue while highlighting the perceived shortcomings of the RJD’s governance.
From July 15 to September 15, the NDA plans joint rallies in all constituencies of Bihar, addressed by national and state leaders. These rallies will follow meetings at the district and block levels.
The NDA’s electoral strategy will be customized based on regional considerations. The approach will steer clear of divisive issues, with the JDU and LJP leading efforts to secure Muslim votes. The NDA will also highlight the controversy surrounding the alleged insult of Ambedkar by Lalu Yadav, aiming to garner support from Dalit voters.
