The city of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, is reeling from the news of a horrifying rape involving a minor girl. The assailant entered her home when she was alone, suppressed her cries by forcing a cloth in her mouth, and then committed the heinous act before absconding. The incident happened in a village in the Piyar police station area on Friday. The minor girl was alone at home as her family was away. The accused, identified as Mohammad Mubarak (19), who was staying at his maternal grandparent’s house, entered the home and secured the door from the inside. He then initiated an assault. When the girl made noise, he gagged her with a cloth.
Following the assault, the girl’s brother unexpectedly arrived. The accused then attacked him before fleeing the scene. The family reported the matter to the police, demanding the arrest of the suspect and immediate action. The community is urging a swift response.
