Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar revealed the new CityCat cleaning vehicle for Bengaluru, as part of the effort to enhance the city’s cleanliness and promote a greener environment. He emphasized that the initiative is a demonstration of the government’s promise to improve the city’s cleanliness and infrastructure. On social media, he wrote that the new CityCat vehicle is prepared to be deployed. Additionally, Shivakumar discussed the Yettinahole project, assuring the provision of water to Kolar by 2027. The Forest Department was consulted on issues related to the project, along with the acquisition of land and financial considerations linked to the construction of a balanced reservoir in Bairagonda and Lakkenahalli. Shivakumar stated that the project adjustments will be made based on the suggestions of ministers, and he will present the matter in the forthcoming cabinet meeting. The Chief Minister has given instructions to prioritize the completion of the Yettinahole project.
