Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated and performed the Bhoomipujan of 64 works worth 107.81 crore on this occasion. These included the Bhoomipujan of 85 works worth 61 crore 20 lakh and the inauguration of 6 works worth 15 crore 80 lakh in Jashpur assembly constituency. Similarly, the Bhoomipujan of 15 works worth 24 crore 90 lakh and the inauguration of 4 works worth 5 crore 91 lakh in Pharsabahar development block under Kunkuri assembly constituency was also done.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also requested to plant a tree in the name of the mother in his address. He said that the rain has started. The time is favorable. If the mother is with them, then plant the saplings in the name of the mother by keeping them in front or by keeping their photo in front after they are deceased. Also take responsibility for its security for life. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai honored the trainers of the Yoga Commission by giving them commendation letters and symbols on this occasion.
Social Welfare Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade said that yoga is above all kinds of discrimination. Caste, religion, women, men, all can benefit by bringing them into practice equally. He said that everyone should take advantage of it. This is the biggest day of the year, celebrated all over the world on June 21. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given it recognition by taking yoga to the international platform. This year’s yoga is based on green yoga. He appealed to all the people to plant more and more trees. Smt. Rajwade said that the theme of Yoga Day this year is “One Earth One Health” which tells about the mutual relationship between the earth and human health.
Addressing the program, Yoga Commission Chairman Roop Narayan Sinha said that the valleys of Jashpur are very beautiful and suitable for yoga. Jashpur tea leaves, cashews, pears, etc. produce good yields of other crops. He said that the natural environment of Jashpur allows for beauty more beautiful than heaven. Yoga is not a subject of reading and teaching, it is to be practiced daily and adopted in life. It is a way of living life, everyone can remain healthy for life.
Collector Shri Rohit Vyas expressed his gratitude to everyone in the Yoga Day program. The welcome speech was given by the Director of Social Welfare Department, Roktima Yadav. Yoga trainers Shri Chhabilal Sahu, Jyoti Sahu and their team were honored by giving them symbols. A disabled girl inspired people to do yoga by doing difficult yoga exercises.
On this occasion, former MP Ranvijay Singh Judeo, Padmashree Jageshwar Ram Yadav, Jashpur MLA Raymuni Bhagat, District Panchayat President Salik Sai, State’s Sanirman Karmakar Mandal President Rampratap Singh, Matikala Board, Shambhunath Chakravarty, Municipal President Arvind Bhagat, Vice President Yash Pratap Singh Judeo, Divisional Commissioner Narendra Dugge, IG Deepak Jha, Collector Rohit Vyas, SSP Shashi Mohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Shri Abhishek Kumar along with a large number of public representatives, dignitaries, school children and representatives of yoga institutions were present.
