A significant security incident occurred on an Air India flight from Bengaluru to Surat, leading to the arrest of a 36-year-old doctor. The woman, Vyas Hiral Mohanbhai, caused a disturbance after she refused to comply with cabin crew instructions regarding her luggage. She allegedly threatened to crash the plane when asked to move her bags from a restricted area. The flight was delayed for two hours. According to reports, the doctor bypassed the check-in process and insisted on bringing two bags onto the aircraft. After boarding, she placed one bag near the crew cabin. When asked to store the bag in an overhead compartment, she refused and started yelling at the crew and other passengers, eventually threatening to crash the plane. Security personnel intervened and escorted her off the flight. At the KIA police station, Mohanbhai continued to act aggressively, shouting at and pushing officers. Her husband stated that she had previously exhibited similar behavior and was traveling to Gujarat. Police are investigating her past conduct.
