Eastern UP is experiencing rainfall following the monsoon’s arrival. Strong gusty winds are also expected. The monsoon is projected to encompass the entirety of Uttar Pradesh within the next three to four days. Over the next 24 hours, coastal Karnataka, West Bengal, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, eastern Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Gujarat, Konkan, and Goa could see light to moderate rainfall, with some areas experiencing heavy downpours. Light to moderate rainfall is also anticipated in parts of Bihar and Odisha.
Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, the Western Himalayan region, and Lakshadweep are also predicted to receive light to moderate rainfall. Light rainfall is possible in interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Vidarbha.
