A devastating story of heartbreak and suicide unfolded in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Deepak, a 19-year-old man, took his own life after his girlfriend reportedly demanded he prove his love by dying for her. Deepak, who resided in Khajarpur and worked at a private clinic, had met the girl at a wedding. Their relationship intensified rapidly, with Deepak reportedly spending a substantial sum on her. When she stopped responding to his messages, Deepak became extremely upset. Following his death, his friends found messages where he begged her to reply. The girl reportedly wrote back, “Prove you love me, die for me.” Soon afterward, Deepak ingested poison. His father expressed his shock at the situation and is yet to file a formal complaint.
