A shocking murder has been reported from Chhapra, Bihar, where a man is accused of killing his younger brother. The deceased, Sonu Kumar, aged 17, was allegedly stabbed by his elder brother, Sunny. The incident took place in Marar village, Parsa block, on Sunday evening. Following the stabbing, the accused, Sunny, fled the scene.
The motive for the killing is unusual and revolves around a simple act of sharing ice cream. Sonu had three ice creams; he ate one, gave one to his mother, and offered the third to his sister-in-law, Sunny’s wife. This act apparently triggered the fatal argument.
The incident escalated when Sonu offered the ice cream to Sunny’s wife, and a misunderstanding led to a heated dispute. The situation worsened, and Sunny, losing control, attacked Sonu with a knife. The knife pierced Sonu’s left chest, causing him to bleed severely. Family members immediately took him to the community health center for medical treatment.
After providing preliminary care, the doctors at the health center referred Sonu to PMCH because his condition was critical. Sadly, Sonu passed away while being transported to PMCH. Upon receiving the news, the police immediately reached the location and initiated an investigation, collecting details from the family. The body was then sent to Sadar Hospital.
Sonu’s mother revealed that he was the sole earner for the family. The family also noted that Sunny had gotten married just five days before the terrible incident. The conflict began when Sonu gave ice cream to his sister-in-law.
