A large-scale police operation in Ranchi led to the arrest of 121 individuals wanted in connection with various criminal activities. The operation, which took place overnight, was carried out by 60 police teams comprising 216 officers. The arrests were made across 25 police stations in the rural areas of Ranchi, targeting individuals involved in serious offenses such as murder, arms act violations, and financial crimes. The operation also led to the apprehension of 3 Naxalites.
The arrested individuals were brought to the New Police Line for processing. Following verification, 22 of the suspects were released on bail, while the remaining 99 were sent to jail. The successful operation demonstrates the effectiveness of the police in addressing and combating crime within the region. Simultaneously, authorities are strategizing with Google India to improve city traffic management and alleviate congestion.
