Today, Delhi may experience a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius. Strong, dusty winds and heat waves are expected during the day. The weather forecast predicts a change this evening, with potential thunderstorms and light rain late at night. The period from June 13 to 16 could bring rain to Delhi, providing welcome relief to residents of Delhi NCR.
Uttar Pradesh is expected to see a mix of light showers and heat waves. The meteorological department anticipates the monsoon’s arrival in Uttar Pradesh by June 15, which could bring relief to the state.
Bihar and Jharkhand are facing varied weather conditions. Bihar experienced heavy rainfall in some areas but also continues to endure extreme heat in others. Jharkhand is likely to encounter thunderstorms, strong winds, and lightning across the entire state.
Rajasthan is experiencing a severe heatwave, while Madhya Pradesh has issued heat alerts. Punjab and Haryana are anticipating rising temperatures due to dry, hot winds. In Rajasthan, a change in weather is expected soon, with rain predicted in four districts on June 14. Madhya Pradesh has issued an orange alert for heat waves in multiple districts and a yellow alert for rain in others.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Central Karnataka. Coastal and interior Karnataka are also expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall. Eastern and Northern Tamil Nadu are under a very heavy rainfall warning. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. Maharashtra is forecasted to experience heavy rainfall in various parts of the state over the next 4-5 days.
