In a display of lawlessness, traffic police officers were attacked by auto rickshaw drivers in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The incident took place at the Kathel Mor area, under the jurisdiction of the Nagri police station. A video of the assault has surfaced on social media, showing the brutal attack on the officers. The video shows the auto drivers attacking the traffic police officers. Reports indicate that three to four auto drivers were involved in the assault, using stones to attack the officers. One traffic police officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, suffered severe head injuries and is in critical condition, admitted to RIMS hospital in Ranchi. The attackers fled the scene, and police are currently searching for them. The Ranchi Traffic SP has pledged to take stringent action against the perpetrators. The Nagri police station is leading the investigation. The viral video shows the auto drivers aggressively assaulting the traffic police officers, and the officers are seen trying to defend themselves with batons. After the police officers used batons, auto drivers are seen hitting one officer with a stone, causing him to fall down.
