A SpiceJet passenger endured an embarrassing situation on a Mumbai to Bengaluru flight after being stuck in the aircraft’s lavatory throughout the journey. The airline has apologized and reportedly offered compensation to the affected passenger. The flight, which was delayed by two hours, took off from Mumbai and soon after, the passenger, who was in seat 14D, entered the restroom and became trapped due to a malfunctioning door lock. The crew’s efforts to open the door were unsuccessful. To keep the passenger calm, the crew slipped a handwritten note under the door. It requested that the passenger remain seated on the toilet until arrival in Bengaluru. The note was shared widely on social media, drawing laughter and comments. The flight landed in Bengaluru at approximately 3:45 AM, allowing ground staff to open the door. The airline has apologized for the incident.
