The Meghalaya honeymoon murder case involving Sonam and Raja Raghuvanshi has taken a dramatic turn with the discovery of Sonam, who had been missing since May 23rd. She was apprehended by Ghazipur Police, accused of hiring killers to murder her husband. It is understood that Sonam contacted her brother to inform him of her well-being.
Sonam, originally from Indore, was located in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday. Indore police immediately acted on the information and proceeded to Gazipur. Reports suggest she was found in a disheveled state and is currently staying at the Sakhi One Stop Centre, which supports female victims of violence.
Devi Singh, Sonam Raghuvanshi’s father, spoke to the media, stating, “Sonam came to a dhaba in Ghazipur. She called her brother, Govind. Police went there and took her to the Police Station.” He refuted the allegations, stating, “100% false allegations are being made against Sonam.”
He expressed serious concerns about the investigation, saying, “Police bikk gayi hai… I request to send CBI to investigate how the stuff kept in the activa reached near the body.” Regarding Sonam’s arrival at the dhaba, he stated, “Only Sonam can tell this. The couple had Rs 70,000. Raja had a chain and two rings, while Sonam had a chain around her neck, bracelet, anklet, and money…”
