External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will visit France and Belgium from June 8th to 14th to enhance bilateral relations and discuss strategic issues. He will meet with his counterparts in both countries and hold strategic talks with EU Foreign and Security Policy Chief Kaja Kallas. The visit will serve to highlight India’s stance on terrorism. In France, Jaishankar will hold discussions with French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barrot, participate in the Mediterranean Raisina Dialogue, and engage with think tanks. These discussions will include India’s counter-terrorism measures. This visit is also to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the strategic partnership between India and France. In Brussels, Jaishankar will engage in a strategic dialogue with Kaja Kallas, the European Commission, the European Parliament, and think tanks. The visit is anticipated to deepen relationships with the EU, France, and Belgium and revitalize cooperation across various areas.
