The district administration in Pendra has taken strong measures following instances of negligence in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within the Pendra development block. Rajkumar Sharma, the secretary of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat, has been suspended for his negligent behavior and lack of diligence. Furthermore, a show cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat.
Simultaneously, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been directed for an immediate transfer to another posting. This action was taken based on the instructions from the District Panchayat CEO, Surendra Prasad Vaid. Vaid has made it clear that any form of negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated. He has also warned all panchayat employees that stringent actions will be taken against individuals who impede the implementation of the vital PM Awas Yojana. This move by the administration has prompted a heightened sense of activity among the panchayats, and the remaining panchayats have received instructions to ensure the timely and transparent implementation of schemes.
