The district administration in Pendra has taken decisive action following irregularities in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for his negligence and lack of diligence in his responsibilities. Furthermore, a show-cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat. Concurrently, directives have been issued to relocate the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to a different post immediately. These actions were taken on the instructions of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh. He has firmly stated that negligence in government projects will not be condoned. He has alerted all panchayat employees that strict measures will persist against those who hinder the progression of crucial schemes such as the PM Awas Yojana. The administration’s tough approach has prompted a wave of concern within the panchayats, prompting the others to implement the schemes promptly and transparently.
