A man in Gumla, Jharkhand, created a spectacle by climbing a mobile tower and threatening to end his life. The motivation behind the dangerous act was a dispute with his father and brother concerning the division of property. After the conflict, the man, identified as Ritesh Kumar Singh, escalated the situation by ascending the tall structure. The police were alerted and arrived at the scene, working for over three hours to convince him to come down. The standoff ended with Singh’s descent, during which he was slightly injured. The situation began after a dispute with his wife, which led to the tower climb. This is a display of the deep-rooted tension that sometimes stems from familial disputes.
