A SpiceJet passenger aboard a flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru faced an embarrassing situation when they were stuck inside the lavatory for the entire flight. The airline has apologized to the passenger and offered a refund.
The passenger, who entered the restroom shortly after takeoff, couldn’t get out because the door lock had jammed. The crew tried to resolve the issue, but the door remained locked. To keep the passenger calm, the crew passed a note under the door, telling him to remain seated until the flight landed in Bengaluru.
The delayed flight finally reached Bengaluru at around 3:45 AM. Ground staff and engineers eventually opened the door. The crew’s note was widely shared on social media, leading to laughter from many.
