Dr. Kushwaha Shashibhushan Mehta, a BJP MLA from Panki, Jharkhand, protested at the Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi after being denied a room. He had made prior bookings for two rooms, but upon arrival, he was informed that only one room was reserved for him. He sat on the floor in the reception area and ate his breakfast in protest. The MLA raised concerns about the building’s management and demanded the Chief Minister’s intervention to address the issue. He sought to highlight the need for better management of the Jharkhand Bhawan to ensure convenient accommodation for all MLAs.
