Bijapur: The incident of killing of a villager by Naxalites in Bijapur has once again created an atmosphere of fear in the area. In fact, a villager was brutally murdered on the charges of police informer. A pamphlet of the banned CPI-Maoist organization Bhairamgarh Area Committee has also been recovered from the spot. Bhairamgarh police station reached the spot after receiving the information and sent the body to the PM.
According to the information received, the villager has been identified as Bhadru Sodhi, resident of Keshamundi, age 41 years, father- Hidma. Who was killed on the basis of suspicion of being a police informer.
However, the BJP government in Chhattisgarh has started taking strict measures against Naxalism, and the central government aims to eliminate Naxalites by 2026. As a result, Naxal positions are being continuously attacked by security forces, and the influence of Maoists is decreasing. However, Naxalites are preying on innocent villagers to maintain their power, which is a way of creating fear and insecurity in the society.
