Raipur, January 9, 2025. In Raipur, the capital city, work to remove and replace the existing asphalt surface on the Mowa Railway Overbridge began on January 3, 2025. To complete the work quickly and due to high traffic pressure, the asphalt work was being carried out until 3-4 AM. This morning, it was observed that aggregate is coming out of the asphalt in some places, which is due to the asphalt material being overheated. This work is currently in progress. The work is not yet complete. The asphalt where the aggregate is coming out from the overbridge will be removed and the work will be redone. Payment to the contractor will be made only after a complete quality check of the work.
