Ranchi: It rained heavily in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi and many surrounding areas late last night. In many districts, it rained heavily till early morning. The effect of western disturbance is being seen in Jharkhand. Even today, according to the forecast of Ranchi Meteorological Center, it may rain in many districts. Yellow alert has also been issued regarding this. The districts where rain is expected today include Garhwa, Latehar, Chatra, Lohardaga and Palamu. Strong wind may also blow during this period. Hail may also occur here. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of thunderstorm in the southern, north-eastern and central parts of Jharkhand. Due to this change in the weather, a drop in temperature has been recorded. The maximum temperature has dropped to 7 degrees and the minimum temperature has dropped to 10 degrees. The weather is expected to remain like this till March 7.
