NEW DELHI: Battling a disaster within the Maharashtra authorities, the Shiv Sena leaders are more likely to skip the opposition events assembly on Tuesday to finalise their joint candidate for the Presidential election.

Senior celebration chief Sanjay Raut was scheduled to attend the assembly convened by Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, however “he has cancelled his visit to Delhi,” a celebration functionary stated.

The Maharashtra authorities is dealing with a disaster after senior Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde went incommunicado with 10 celebration MLAs in tow. Shinde is learnt to be in Gujarat’s Surat, apparently upset with being sidelined by the celebration.
