During the present 12 months 2023, 12 lakh 88 thousand 241 normal baggage of tendu leaves have been collected in Chhattisgarh up to now, which is greater than 77 p.c of the goal of 16 lakh 72 thousand normal baggage. Of these, the whole quantity payable to Tendupatta collectors is greater than Rs 515 crore. It has been collected by about 11 lakh tendu leaf collectors. Under the steering of Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, the work of tendu leaf assortment is occurring easily within the state.

According to the knowledge acquired from the State Minor Forest Produce Association, up to now 81 thousand normal baggage value Rs 32 crore have been made by 49 thousand 825 collectors in Bijapur beneath Jagdalpur forest circle, one lakh 22 thousand 310 normal baggage value Rs 49 crore by 58 thousand collectors in Sukma. In Dantewada, 14 thousand collectors have collected 15 thousand 630 normal baggage value Rs 6 crore and in Jagdalpur, 39 thousand collectors have collected 20 thousand 970 normal tendu leaves value Rs 8 crore 38 lakh.
Similarly, beneath the Kanker forest circle, 29 thousand 713 collectors collected 18 thousand 608 normal sacks value Rs 7 crore 44 lakh in Dakshin Kondagaon, 33 thousand 620 collectors collected 24 thousand 963 normal sacks value Rs 10 crore in Keshkal, 15 thousand 978 collectors in Narayanpur. 18 thousand 610 normal baggage value Rs 7.50 crore by East Bhanupratappur, 90 thousand 649 normal baggage value Rs 36 crore by 30 thousand 426 collectors, 34 thousand 884 normal baggage value Rs 14 crore by 15 thousand 295 collectors in West Bhanupratappur and 31 in Kanker Thousand 999 collectors have collected 33 thousand 342 normal baggage of tendu leaves value Rs 13 crore.
