Duleep Trophy will mark the beginning of India’s home cricket season, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) introduced on Monday.
Over 1500 matches will probably be held throughout the full-fledged season that can begin within the first week of September 2022 and run till mid-March 2023. The 2022-23 season may even see a return of the Irani Cup.

The Ranji Trophy will probably be performed from December 13 to February 20. The groups will probably be divided into two classes; 1) Elite and a pair of) Plate. The Elite Group will comprise 32 groups and may have 4 teams of 8 groups in a house and away format with every workforce enjoying 7 matches within the league stage.
