Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday launched a programme underneath which college students of Delhi authorities faculties will likely be supplied steerage on profession decisions by residents who’re profitable of their respective fields.

The ‘Desh ke mentor’ programme entails ‘adopting’ one to 10 authorities college college students who could be mentored by residents who’re profitable of their respective fields.

Mentors will take out 10 minutes each week to information college students over the telephone. Interested residents can undertake between one to 10 youngsters learning within the metropolis’s authorities faculties as a part of the initiative.

“If our students get the right guidance, they can excel in every sphere of life. We have launched this programme to help them chalk a future path with mentors guiding them beyond the role played by their teachers,” Kejriwal stated on the launch.
The Delhi authorities had in August introduced that Bollywood actor Sonu Sood would be the model ambassador for the mentors’ programme.
