9 roads to be built in different villages of Surguja district at a cost of about 140.80 crores

On the initiative of Food and Culture Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat, 9 works have been accredited for building of pucca roads in numerous villages of Surguja district. With this, Sitapur-Chiranga, Ghantadahi-Govidpur entry highway and bridge-culvert can be constructed within the district. Its price is about 140 crore 80 lakh rupees.
It is noteworthy that within the assembly of the Board of Directors of Road Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, for the development of recent roads and excessive stage culverts and highway upgradation in numerous districts together with Bastar Surguja, administrative approval was given for 12 works in Surguja district. At current, administrative approval for 11 works has been issued. These embrace the development, upgradation and renovation of 9 roads. Minister Shri Bhagat has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel for the approval of those works.
Approved works for building of bridge culvert and highway on Sitapur-Chiranga, Ghantadahi-Govidpur highway within the district embrace NH-43 entry highway from Kerju, entry highway from Paint to Mainpat and bridge-culvert building work, highway from Sitapur Chalta to Haranmar. Construction of bridge-culvert building work, upgradation and renovation work of Sitapur-Bisarpani to Supalga, Sontarai Via Bhusu Gersa highway, Darima to Mainpat, AmbikapurDridarima-Navanagar highway (important highway to airstrip and block headquarter) building, upgradation and renovation work are included.
